Excavated from a creek bed and has a rounded, smooth appearance. Colors range from light gray to buff to dark brown, with an occasional blue-gray. Sizes generally range from 4” to 8” with a 10” to 20” face and cover approx. 35 square feet per ton. Thinner stones (4” and under) are also available. The thin stones cover approx. 85 to 90 square feet per ton except when stacked, in which case, coverage is approx. 35 square feet per ton.
